The Nutmeg Swim Club was founded in 1993 by Jack Stabach and has become a premier swim training program. Nutmeg has worked with many of the top swimmers in Southeastern Connecticut. However, it is not just the top swimmers that Nutmeg caters to. Our coaching philosophy is to build swimmers by encouraging self-esteem through a positive and fun swimming experience while emphasizing technique and condition to all of our athletes.
The program is conducted at the East Lyme Aquatic &

Nutmeg offers two distinct
spring/summer
competitive swimming programs, dependent on your child's ability,
age and level of commitment. These programs begin April 21 and
run through July 24.
It is encouraged to begin the sessions from the initial start date, however, if an athlete cannot begin the program due to other commitments, than a prorated fee will be determined. Alternate start dates are May 12 and June 2.
Parents and athletes must attend a brief meeting on April 9 at 5:30 p.m. in the ELHS commons at the beginning of the program. Failure to attend this meeting will limit, and possibly eliminate, the athlete's opportunity to attend USA swim meets.
